Wouldn’t you like to stand on the side-line next year and yell! – “go the………………’s as well as “go Strathfield”.  Let’s give our club an identity that we can relate to, wholeheartedly support, and take forward with the new generation of soccer players.

HOW TO ENTER

1. In 35 words or less, state the name you choose and the reasons you think it should be chosen.  Here is a list of names already in the association so please DO NOT USE THESE:-

   Tigers	Eagles	Hercules	Rovers
   Dragons	Wanderers	Lions	Saints
   Devils	Raptors	Hawks

    

2. Only one entry per registered player will be accepted.
    

3. Entries lodged by e-mail to clubname@strathfieldsoccer.com.au or dropping a hard copy to the office of Richardson & Wrench Strathfield at 48a The Boulevarde, Strathfield.  Entries must contain your name, address, e-mail address, contact phone number PLUS the Club Name selected and your reason why in 35 words or less.
    

4. Entries close by 5.00pm on Wednesday 30^th November 2005.
    

5. The top 6 names will be selected from the entries and then posted on the Strathfield Soccer website www.strathfieldsoccer.com.au  to be voted on by the registered club members.
    

6. Voting will take place on the website in December 2005 & January 2006 and you can only vote once.

THE WINNING NAME

The name that receives the most votes will be selected as our new club identity or mascot name.

THE WINNING ENTRY

As we may have a number of contestants who have suggested the same winning name, we have to decide on the winner.

he winning entry will be elected by the Executive Committee and the decision will be based upon which entry they think expressed the most interesting reasons for selecting the name – so make your 35 words interesting but no swearing!!

THE PRIZE

The winning entry will receive a family day pass to Luna Park and 4 movie tickets.

Runners up – all those contestants who may have selected the same name but were not the outright winner will receive a $25 Dymocks voucher.
